Katie joined DGI in 2018, seeking a small firm where she could make a big difference. She’s a bit of a Dr. Jekyll/Ms. Hyde in that she easily transitions between serving clients’ needs and improving operations.
She also brings investment-world chops. Katie started her career as an investment manager in Las Vegas. Though Vegas wasn’t quite her speed, she did perfect the art of making the best of every situation. Next Katie served institutional and high-net-worth clients at a firm in Chicago and helped launch a 24/7 trading desk — all while earning an MBA.
Katie really likes a challenge, whether it’s stepping into a critical role or competing in Cross Fit. Her many-hats persona appears at home, too, where she and her partner juggle life with five young kids. You’ll find the family attending youth sports, being active outside and playing board games — and no, competitive Katie does not let the little ones win.
